Inclement Weather Advisory

Don't worry, this pic is from almost six years ago (though it's pretty close to what we have now!)! But, I'm sure a lot of folks remember the Snowmageddon of 2011 - aka the Groundhog's Day Blizzard. I know I sure do! However, since this is obviously a real possibility, and we're having a pretty yucky snowstorm as I type, I wanted to cover some policies regarding inclement weather (that will be put on the website in the next few days).

- If we have a blizzard/winter storm warning or even just (ha!) a watch, I will go to your kitty's home before it starts to make sure your kitty has plenty of water, food, and a clean litter box. I will leave extra food and water down on the chance I'm not able to make it out for the next day's visit (eg, roads cannot be driven on). If needed, I will provide extra disposable litter boxes as well, at no charge to the client.

- If your cat requires timed medication, I will make every effort to make it at that time. However, it may be off a bit if a 10 minute drive takes me two hours. In extreme cases (again, Snowmageddon), I may also end up having to stay there depending on how bad things get.

- If we are unable to make it to any visits, you will receive a credit for that visit which can be used on future visits.

At the end of the day, I do not want to risk getting my car damaged or worse, put my health and safety in jeopardy, as that would definitely affect my ability to care for your pets. I will keep in communication with any clients I have at the time to ensure they are aware of the situation.

As always, any questions, you know how to reach me!
