Hi, I'm Aldona, a life-long cat lover and owner. I'm the owner of Cats are Family Too!, a pet sitting service that specializes in caring for the feline fur-babies in your life. While the focus is on cats with special needs, all kitties are welcome here.

Why cat sitting? you may ask. Well, it's a long story, but we'll try to keep it short. I have a love of cats that has existed ever since I can remember, and I've had cats since the day I was born. In October of 2015, I found myself nursing my one kitty (Lucky) with kidney disease, and another one (Sara) not long after I lost the first. As a result, I realized how much I wanted to get into animal care. Ultimately, that is what started me down the path that led me to where I am now.

The main goal in this business is to ensure the health, safety and comfort of the cats in their owners' absence. This means going to their homes, and making sure we follow their routine to the best of our ability, whatever that may be. And of course, give them all the love and attention they may need.

Some important things to note:

- We are insured and bonded
- We are background checked

- We are trained and certified in pet first aid and CPR

We primarily service the Chicago North Shore area. However, if availability allows, we will travel outside the area on a case-by-case basis.
